Cooper's 1st...I mean 4th Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my sweet leap year baby Cooper! It's hard to believe 4 years ago we were in a Manhattan hospital having our firstborn. It was even a bigger surprise when the doctor told me right after giving birth that he looked like he had down syndrome. What?!?! No one could've prepared us. But God wasn't surprised. In fact, through everything, I am most humbled by the fact that God trusted us enough to let us raise this precious treasure. Cooper is loud, silly, smart, funny, stubborn, loves cheese-its, Elmo, playing outside and music. He loves to take care of James, tackle him, feed him and chase him. He will complete his first full year of preschool in May where he has learned the alphabet and numbers 1-10. Cooper has no health or physical problems. We are so blessed and cannot imagine our family without this crazy blond 4 year old. Thank you Lord for my Cooper.

Catching up

James was ketchup for Halloween. Cooper was mustard. Didn't get a good pic of him though. :(
Boys after dinner watching Elmo
Famous Jamie smile with eyes closed
Took Cooper to Sesame Street Live at the Civic Center. Loved it!
Not thrilled about having his picture done though
Our Thanksgiving centerpiece
I have one now who will watch the parade with me. Yay!
Morning juice. Good stuff.

Birthday Boy

I can't believe James will be a year old on Saturday! It was this time last year when I was really pregnant, hot, and almost 2 weeks past due. Well, I guess he was worth the wait! :) He is such a joy! Walking all over the house, weighing 20 pounds, has 6 teeth and has the cutest laugh in the world. I am only nursing once a day as well! He eats oatmeal, veggies, fruits, graham crackers and puffs. He loves anything that Cooper does and tries his best to get him to chase him. Hopefully he will dig into his cake on Saturday!
