Our church Christmas party Friday night was so much fun! There was fabuous food, great music and fellowship. Santa even showed up!

What's going on

Almost 28 weeks! Since we will be in FL for Christmas, we just decorated with the little tree.

Today was our office Christmas luncheon at Petrossian (a very fancy NYC restaurant that was delicious!)

Happy Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We sure did. You can probably tell by the dinner table!

Our friends Gina, Phil and Sable came over. It was a fun, relaxing day and unseasonably warm!

Hospital

On Monday night, Brandon and I toured St. Luke's Roosevelt hospital. There were a LOT of expecting ladies and their husbands on the tour! Our guide showed us the regular rooms, private rooms, and birthing center. Everyone was very nice and helpful. It did get a little boring, but snacks were provided later on. LOL! I tend to build things up in my mind, so actually seeing that everything looked pretty regular was very helpful!

Now instead of just feeling pregnant, I look pregnant!

IT'S A BOY!!!

Checkup

All is well! Unfortunately, no new ultrasound was taken, so we are still just Baby Kolmetz. But I did gain 3 pounds and got to hear the heartbeat for the first time! That was exciting! More to come after the visit to the hospital next week.

18 week pic

I've definitely felt some changes take place this week! My stomach has popped out and I've felt some moving and bubbling going on. Sleeping and turning over is getting a little uncomfortable. Other than that, the nausea is subsiding and hopefully the doctor will tell me Tuesday that I have gained a few pounds!

First Trip with Baby

Last weekend, I went to Panama City to visit family and attend my cousin Kris's wedding. The wedding was beautiful! We all had a great visit. The beach was beautiful when we went on Sunday. Then mom took me shopping and I got my first pairs of maternity pants and a Dr. Seuss book to read to the baby!

Quick Update

All went well at the doctor's today! Unfortunately, the new picture is too dark, so I won't be able to post it. I haven't gained any weight yet, but Dr. Rhee says I will soon. She commented on how cute the baby is (even though I couldn't tell) Ha Ha! I will get to visit St Luke's hospital next month for my sonogram. She showed me the heartbeat, but wasn't able to see if it was a boy or girl yet. Next time!

14 weeks progression pic

Hi everyone! Well, you can't really tell yet, but the belly is starting to take form. My pants are fitting snugly and my stomach is getting tight. It's weird in the morning because one side tends to puff out more than the other. Then it evens out as the day goes on. I am feeling a bit better and haven't been going to bed at 6pm anymore! LOL! New baby pic to follow after my checkup tomorrow.

12 weeks

Growing Strong

My 2nd doctor's appointment today went really well! The tests I had done last time all came back normal. I actually lost half a pound since last time, but she said that was ok. The nausea seems to be subsiding, yea! In my appointment next month, I should be able to find out the sex of the baby. Can't wait! I will post the new picture next. It is fuzzy, but the head is on the bottom right and the body is angled slightly above it.

New Blessing

We are thrilled to announce a new addition to the Kolmetz family! Our due date is March 7, 2008. It is so much fun visiting websites of other friends, we thought we would add our own! I had a wonderful first doctor visit on Monday July 16th. My doctor said everything looks perfect! She gave me a few notes about what to eat, brochures about tests and our first picture of Baby Kolmetz!
