Five Months Old

Cooper's Thoughts: "Well, I did it. I got myself down to Florida. One thing I can say about Florida.....it's stinkin' HOT!!! I flew myself down here on my private jet. The Lady One begged to come with me. I let her, but I left the Guy One in New York. That guy is weird. He managed to find his way down to us though.
That's right, I'm a big boy now. Got me my own seat where me and Mr. Frogs can sit and watch our stories. Days of our Lives, yo, Days of our Lives. They tell me I'll be moving into my new house next week, so next time you hear from me will be from the lap of luxury. Cooper has left the building."

First Meetings

We are continuing to enjoy introducing Cooper to all his family in Florida this week. Here are cousins Sara and Emma seeing "baby Cooper."
Great grandparents from Titusville (Maw Maw and Paw Paw) drove through yesterday. Coop decided to take a little rest from all the excitement and sleep on Grandma.

This isn't a first meeting, I just thought it was cute. :) My dad is teaching Coop about sailboats and fishing.

First Planeride

Cooper took his first planeride last Saturday. He did wonderfully! I'll admit I was nervous, but he has been a trouper through all the packing, moving, etc. I know it's been a lot. He was awake on the first flight so we fed, played and looked out the window. On the 2nd flight he slept the whole time! Thanks to Aunt Susan who came with us and helped us manuever through each airport!

Congrats

A little shoutout to our new arrivals this week:
Serena Grace Lopez born 7/22 to our friends Sam and Andrew in NYC.
Luke Holt Swain born 7/23 to cousins Leslyn and Robert in Atlanta.
Congratulations!!!

Goodbyes

It was hard to say goodbye to all of our friends in NYC last week. Our office gave us a wonderful going-away party.
Coop, of course, loved all the attention and made his way through the crowd.

We also had a lovely dinner at the Miranda home. Coop is getting pointers from Kristin and Stella about moving. They will be moving to Holland at the end of July. We will miss them!

The lovely Raina is due to give birth in October. Getting in practice beforehand with Coop is key!

Our friend Sabu came over to say goodbye as well. It was his first time meeting Coop!

Our Home

After 7 years in our NY apartment, our new FL home is a sight for sore eyes! It is a 3 bed/ 2 bath home with fireplace and screened-in porch. We can probably never repay our families for their overwhelming generosity over the past few years but can pray that the blessings of God will overtake them!

4th of July

We had a nice picnic/going away party at Astoria Park on the 4th. Coop was all set in his new holiday shirt!
Hanging with the girls and Coop. We almost had the park to ourselves because the rain scared everyone away.
Coop had enough partying so he took a little siesta...

Hanging back at the house with Lori, Erin and Keith

Birthday

For my birthday yesterday, the 3 of us went to the South Street Seaport for dinner and shopping.
They had beautiful new waterfalls set up for the summer under the bridge

I always love looking at the boats as well. I am glad the rain held off until we got home! The fireworks at the park that night were spectacular, but of course, no pictures came out nice.
