Trip to Savannah

So for the start of spring break and our 8th wedding anniversary, we took a trip to Savannah, GA. But the 6 hour trip took 10 with Cooper driving....
There were beautiful boats all along River Street as well as restaurants and shops.

It was a lovely day to walk through the park just a few blocks from our hotel

It seems all we did was eat which satisfied the Coops

Our last day we ate in Paula Deen's restaurant Lady & Sons. Hey Ya'll-Finger lickin good!

With a belly full and our bags packed, we headed home. Nothing like some Baby Einstein to help a fellow relax.

Lovin Life

Updates for Cooper fans:
At the doctor he was 20 pounds, 28 inches long. He's little but he's fiesty! Cooper is army crawling everywhere now but is hesitant at the carpet/wood floor border coming out of his room...His therapies are going extremely well, everyone is amazed at him. Well, who isn't? :) He still loves outside, and his swingset. We went to the beach and even though the water is still too cold to swim, he insisted on sitting as close to it as we could. We sat just where the waves washed on shore and he would laugh when they touched his legs. Cooper has 4 teeth now! 2 new ones on the top, one broke through and one is peeking. No wonder we've been waking up during the night! He loves his oatmeal/yogurt combo and is becoming hesitant with vegetables...UGH! Well, better get back to Mickey Mouse. The hot-dog dance is the best part. :) Later dudes!

Horsing around with mom. (yes, we went through several outfits that day:)

Surveying the damage...
It was such a nice day. We are thankful to be close to our family again and have them watch Cooper grow up. It's been a tough first year, but getting better every day and I wouldn't change a thing. Cooper is beyond joy to both of us. He is so full of energy and spirit and so fearless and trusting. It is wonderful to watch all the changes taking place and thinking how God created each one of us so unique and distinct. We are blessed!
